Highlights Of Nyimbwa/Bombo Magistrates Court DCC Meeting

The Nyimbwa/Bombo Magistrate's Court on Thursday held its District Chain-linked Committee (DCC) meeting that was Chaired by the Luwero Chief Magistrate HW Ssemwanga Mariam Nalujja.
HW Kayaga Salma, the Bombo Resident Magistrate thanked all stakeholders who included; the Town Clerk Bombo Town council, the Mayor Bombo Town Council, ,Senior Assistant to the Town Clerk, Officer in Charge Bombo Police Station, Officer in Charge of Prisons, OC CID, OC Traffic Bombo Police, Local Council Chairpersons, for honoring her invitation to attend the meeting.
The meeting discussed and resolved on several issues concerning administration of justice within their jurisdiction.
All members present raised concerns for the absence of a substantive state Attorney in their area.
The Chief Magistrate HW Ssemwanga appreciated the stakeholders for their cooperation and urged them to take up a role in sensitizing the public about the court.
The officer in Charge Bombo Police thanked the Resident Magistrate for her professionalism and efficiency.
The Mayor assured the stakeholders that the Council has identified land to be given for the construction of a permanent court but it still awaits a boundary opening and addressing third party interests.
